Tokyo 2020 Olympics Handover ceremony

Three and a half years ago, we had the extraordinary privilege of supervising and producing two pivotal musical soundtracks for the historic handover ceremony from Tokyo 2020 to Paris 2024. This marked a significant milestone in our developtment, allowing Thomas to contribute to a global event of immense cultural importance. These productions were not merely musical pieces; they were sonic bridges between nations, embodying the spirit of the Olympic and Paralympic Games."

Part 1 : "Prologue" by Woodkid

This was a truly exceptional collaboration with the visionary artist Woodkid. His original composition, 'Prologue,' served as the musical backdrop for the official handover ceremony. This piece, co-produced by TEPR, was brought to life by the prestigious Orchestre National de France, conducted by Chloé Dufresne, and the Maîtrise de Radio France, conducted by Sofi Jeannin.

Part 2 : "La Marseillaise" - arranged by Victor le Masne

"The second project involved a unique contemporary arrangement of the French national anthem, 'La Marseillaise,' by the talented Victor le Masne. This was not just a performance; it was a reimagining of a national symbol, tailored for a global audience.

This project presented extraordinary challenges, including the remote recording of a saxophone solo by astronaut Thomas Pesquet from the ISS – a truly unforgettable experience.
